The Toyota Tamaraw/Rangga Concepts are some of the coolest things Toyota has done recently and I hope they get to production in Thailand and the Philippines. @gpowerf in the test world, where oscilloscopes and four quadrant power supplies cost as much as cars, everything has web servers and is controlled via Ethernet. But in the land of commodity cheap electronics, where they want you to have to look at their logo every time you use your phone, suddenly it's all apps.
App, app, app, app, app… everything seems to need an app, how many apps can we install? Why? Can’t a washing machine or fan run a web server instead of needing another damn app? We can’t install an app for everything!

Full text search has been merged in #Mastodon `main` branch, and will be in the next (and final?) 4.2.0 beta 🎉
It is opt-in, so it will take some time to be filled with people content as they enable their profile to be indexed, but this was one of the most wanted Mastodon features for some time.
We plan to deploy it to mastodon.social and mastodon.online in the coming days to have a bit more feedback on it and see how it behaves in the wild.

It's difficult to comment on NHS England and Palantir because I work in the NHS but if you have an interest in the Federated Data Platform proposals and NHS data I recommend checking out the Open Democracy media https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/uk/. There has been a FOI recently about emails on this subject.
