The game still remains loot dependent, get plenty of shields and good scopes early on and you have a massive advantage! There are less hiding places than in Fortnite so it's easy to pick off players from far away, even at Steam Deck resolutions.

The big difference for me between and is that I can actually win without being carried.

Here's me, MVP in my squad and we are the winning squad. That just makes the game way more fun! And yeah, I'm the only person in the squad playing with beta controller too, but gyro on works very well with this game. Super smooth!

The game also has some improvements over , like:

1) There's no build mode. This is good for me as I don't like build mode.

2) There are respawns until halfway through the game, this gives you a chance to try again if you got killed early because you didn't manage to loot a gun.

The best thing about Base Arcade in Belfast over the weekend was the young guy who paid money into the arcade with freeplay cabinets to program a ZX Spectrum. 😂

A question for whoever reads this:

How do you think society will eventually conquer social media addiction? Or if you think we won't how do you think this affects humanity?

I would appreciate it if you help my question spread further by boosting it.

Did you know that #CrazyTaxi (#Sega #Dreamcast, 2000) had some of the most prominent product placement in gaming history? Passengers could give destinations of Pizza Hut, Tower Records, or KFC, among others. #GameFact

Art style > high-end GPUs and graphics. That’s my take on video game graphics. I think the aesthetic and creative choices of the developers matter more than the technical aspects of the visuals.

It was nice to be able to enjoy warm summer temps today after the cold weather we’ve been having. It was bliss 😄

Went to the ice rink today and actually dared to do some harder things. First time I’ve tried since I got injured and I’m dead pleased 😃

The difference between the Cybertruck prototype snd shipped version is like one of those online memes where people show what the image looked like on the e-commerce website and the bedraggled thing that was actually delivered.

@aral Better in the long run, very painful in the short run.

I used to enjoy tweaking my #GNOME setup but I've had too many plugins break during major version upgrades. Now I just use #PopOS and its been stable enough for me.

@mischievoustomato @gamingonlinux @graf I'll shill PopOS here, it just works, only slightly less than the SD itself. But you can use PopOS as a Steam/browser machine without doing anything Linux-y at all.

Nothing sums up this year more then Zoom demanding that their employees come back to the office instead of remote working.

Nothing.

I'm happy there's renewed activity around Usenet, such as a new management committee and group maintenance to remove obsolete groups and create new ones.

The three (3) oldest, continued longest developed Linux distros are

1) Slackware
2) Debian
3) Suse

In that order.

While the company SUSE is older than Debian, the distro is not. SUSE started developing software before their distro.

I was stressing because I was walking to my usual coffee shop where I always have a cappuccino and I wanted an iced Americano. Their reaction was great though *gasp* “I’m afraid you can’t have that!”. 😄
