So I am starting a #FLOSS HAM community.. Think apache for Ham radio. The idea is to address the state of open source software and standards in HAM radio.
Anyone, particularly open-source devs have any interest in talking to me about this, even if its just to make sure their ideas are considered as I launch... but people who want to help more directly are welcome too.

#Mitsubishi is one of those car brands which is pretty much the walking dead. It’s basically surviving in Europe by selling Renaults, now dead in China, surviving with just a handful of Outlander sales in North America, and only doing well in South East Asia and Oceania with pickup sales but not dominating any market and generally coming after Toyota,Nissan, Ford, and Isuzu.I don’t see how they could last a couple of decades more! First look at the Magnavox all transistor radio I picked up earlier today , mercury battery type is no longer manufactured. It’s a nuisance but not the end. I’ll hook up 4.5v DC using clips to test it and will most likely kludge a battery pack of 3x AAA to get close enough.
Nice to see the instructions inside.

New server, new #introduction! I'm Tim, an Aussie #retrogaming maker and collector. Right now I'm working on some USB adapters for old gaming controllers, which I collect and research - ask me about Advanced Gravis!
I do a lot of #3dprinting and design, and make a lot of little gadgets to make life easier or more fun. I also collect, scan and upload rare manuals for things, and used to be fairly active in the #righttorepair space (and still quietly run my old laptop service manuals site).
