I like looking at old magazines, they can be a mine of useful information when you're trying to solve issues with the more obscure retro computers. Whilst looking through this issue of the Japanese magazine Basic I found these pages on the computers being sold at the time (1990/01) #retrocomputing

I think I’m one of the few iPhone and iPad users who really is super unenthusiastic about the hardware. So much so that I really can’t tell you what generation iPad I have other than I bought it a year ago or so… I simply like iOS and buy a new device when I need it.

That’s 1995 in this photo and games are $100. With inflation that’s $195.55 today.

I do wonder what it would be like if football (as in the FIFA kind) were more like ice hockey, and by that I mean that fights are tolerated to a certain extent and teams had an enforcer to punish opposition players who don’t play fair. Certain players who we all know act to get a penalty or free kick would not want to take the risk if they know a 250 pound enforcer would them on. #xp

Finished #MaxPayne2 on #SteamDeck and it's great! Unlike the first, no extra fixes needed. I just used an older version of Proton (5.13-6 if I recall correctly) to be safe, but that's it.
It takes the same winning gameplay & storytelling recipe as the 1st, but with improved graphics and controls.
The only difficulty I had was during this part where you have to snipe enemies down, and it can be frustrating to aim precisely with the joysticks.
