@gpowerf I reinstalled Infinite on my PC a few weeks ago after having uninstalled it way back in December 2021 due to obscenely terrible networking issues. I had been dabbling in the MCC's multiplayer and decided to see if I'd have any better luck related to "desync" and any general networking issues this time around. My experience has been far better than in the past even if I do notice issues in some matches. Even if the custom games browser is extremely glitchy I'm having a blast playing a modern Halo game that seems to finally be improving at an increasing rate.

Think of Mastodon as a community of small local main street stores where you are known by name and the people are nice and polite.
Turder, Facebook, and other commercial types are the Walmarts, Targets and other big box stores that pull unethical shit, treat their employees like crap and treat you (the "customer/product") with crap dignity with a poor customer experience (mostly cause you're the product not a customer on commercial SOCMED).

Does anyone else do standing desk gaming? I'm really getting into it and generally, I much prefer it to sit-down gaming for some styles of games.
For a game like Halo where I can concentrate intensely, I really want to be standing. For something really mellow like let's say Persona 5 I'd rather sit.
Have you tried it? What do you think? And if you haven't I really recommend you try it, I'm loving it! #gaming #standingdesk

Things I've learned about Mastodon this week:
1. Photo captions are read by screenreaders for people who have impaired vision. The more descriptive you make them, the more people can appreciate your post.
2. Hashtags should be "camel style" which means you capitalize each word in the tag - this enables screen readers to identify different words in the tag,
3. Reblogging boosts posts and favourites do not.
4. Hashtags are way more important here than on the birdsite.
