This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

The United States’ biggest gift to the world is not the Internet, not any other technology, not some of the best Universities in the world… it certainly isn’t an example of freedom… it is a variety of accents that sound awesome in music.

Man… my year old TV has developed issues! These things don’t last long anymore! It’s just horizontal lines, probably a lose ribbon cable inside, but still!

My 2023 resolution will continue to be 1200x800 until a Steam Deck 2.
Few things are more heartbreaking than when someone from your past contacts you and it turns out all they want is money 😢

Most striking theme of the Mastodon migration is how many folks try to recreate bird site here without understanding what lead them here.
It's a FOSS project governed by community. Ideas move slowly but thoughtfully. Reasoning comes before effort.
If you like everything about Bird site except it's current owner, Mastodon is probably not for you.

For anyone in the UK who can't see my recent video warning people off the scam website, because they got it blocked in the UK, it's on TILVids: https://tilvids.com/w/sx3oWxzUqQeHDe3pjmfH9k

#FollowFriday #ProTip ~ I boosted this yesterday (and everyone should do more boosting to #help #discovery), but @gabipurcaru@mastodon.onlimade this: https://followgraph.vercel.app/ ~ "Your extended network is a treasure trove! Followgraph looks up all the people you #follow on #Mastodon, and then the people they follow. Then it sorts them by the number of mutuals, or otherwise by how popular those accounts are.
It then shows the list with Mastodon links to follow them." ~ #SocialMedia #community #boost #tips

I saw a toot about how Mastodon isn’t a suitable network for social movements.. posted on a social network with 8 million accounts that has no adverts, is volunteer run, is open source, has no owner and is end to end free of big technology companies.
