This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

My top #sports #games of all time:
Basketball #2600 - this game is so replayable and so simple that it is effectively as enjoyable today as it was on release.
California Games #multiformat - whatever computer or consile you like to play this it is bound to be excellent. Different versions have different strong points, well worth checking out.
Baseball Stars 2 #NeoGeo - this is arguably not only the best baseball game of all time but the best sports game of all time. Simply amazing!
Wii Sports #Wii - now this is different from the others, it is more of a family party game than a pure video game. But who on this planet has not spent hours and hours playing this? Surely one of the most popular sports games of all time!

Nearly all the comments I read in reply to articles posted here on Mastodon indicate that people don't merely read past the headline, they often read the entire article.
Even after four months here this continues to surprise and delight me. It is the diametric opposite of my experience on twitter.

Good on Nintendo for raising salaries by 10% despite the profit forecast.

although I appreciate that Google Docs has settings for British English and American English, I am once again begging for a Canadian English mode that lets me use 'labour', 'centre', 'organize' and 'analyze' in the same document without thinking I'm having some sort of transatlantic identity crisis

Still amazing that the only thing that knocks the Steam Deck from #1 top seller are these absolutely massive multi-million releases. Shows the staying power of the Deck.

It amuses me that today’s #macOS is essentially a souped-up #NeXTStep. Emulating the latter atop the former feels like a fitting form of tribute.
Special thanks to @ActionRetro for FrogFind!
#HogwartsLegacy screenshots and comments.
1) My character is looking pretty awesome now.
2) Professor Mirabel Garlick seems to be breaking hearts out there, I've seen a few TikToks already.
3) The Great Hall is simply magical! Walking in for the first time feels AMAZING! This world is still as great as when I first read the original book.
PS: All these screenshots were taken from a Steam Deck and it is running at a semi-steady 40 FPS.
