This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

That awesome moment when you turn on your headphones and turn off the world....
If you have an #Atari #2600 and you don’t have an Uno cart you should really consider one. It is a flash cart that works supremely well! #gaming #retrogaming

I’ve really been enjoying my time on Mastodon. Most folks are super kind, and the conversations have been fun.
That said, one thing that would make Mastodon even better for me would be supporting passkeys as a password replacement. :)

One early setback for the recently featured #Mercedes G-Wagen was that in the 1970s, the most obvious potential customer, the German Bundeswehr, opted instead for the #Volkswagen #Iltis, developed by #Audi on the basis of the 1950s #DKW #Munga. The main significance of the Iltis is that its all-wheel drive system was the starting point for the Audi #Quattro line. The Bundeswehr eventually got its Gs too. @drewharwell There are pieces out there that explain how it works, but there's room for documenting the sensation of experiencing the illusion too.

Not my first #mechanicalkeyboard, but I’m impressed with this #keychron K8 pro. The key caps have this curved shape that reminds me of my old #C64. Thus despite the new tech, it has a #retrocomputing feel.

TIL the word “overmorrow” is an archaic word that means “the day after tomorrow” and it should not be archaic.
I still maintain that KDA or K/D is unimportant to winning modes like capture the flag. There are advantages to dying like having 2 grenades after re-spawning. #haloinfinite #fps #gaming
We won! Blue team, all of us have really bad KDAs.

Shitty news sites still barfing out these “Mastodon is losing users” crappy articles I see. Now it’s MakeUseOf just parroting The Guardian huh.
https://www.makeuseof.com/why-people-leaving-mastodon/
Yes the numbers dropped from the Twitter leaver influx, it was always going to happen. However Mastodon retained a massive amount of those users https://fediverse.observer/stats = ~1 million additional active users versus before the Twitter crap happened.
