There should be a reverse Indiana Jones film where a South American tribe sneaks into the Vatican, steals some relics, and gets away on a boat while a bunch of men in golden robes shake their fists and shout their strange language.

It's nice that #Unity3D walked back to terms that don't apply unless you use their latest engine, but that's the take-away: you need to not use their latest anymore. Finish your game. Find another engine. This is just an escape clause.

About a year ago #Microsoft bricked my mom's #Windows10 computer by attempting an automated #Windows11 install. Maybe I could have saved it by reinstalling Windows 10, but it was old and she is much happier with the #Chromebook I bought for her.

I'm Simon Tatham, free software developer based in Cambridge, UK. Best known for PuTTY and a collection of puzzle games; various other things largish and smaller. Mostly tend to start my own projects rather than joining existing ones. (I think just because that's my idea of fun.)
