Well, we're looking to hire someone and asked to see examples of some of their projects, and all they had to do was provide a link to their blog which has *years* of write-ups showing their work along with photos and screenshots and videos.

Their blog tells the story of their work differently/better than their resume does.

A blog can serve as a public journal of your work and your process and your growth in a way a resume never can.

After a bit of struggle, I've successfully deployed an instance of #Seafile - a #FOSS #selfhosted alternative to #googleDrive, #dropbox, etc.

Manual setup was a bit of a pain (they want you to use docker, of course) but well worth it! It does all the collaborative google drive-y things I need it to.
