@slider7420 I think that's the British look -- Are you warm?
@Blenster You need your portable oven thermostat. I always have mine. :) (not really)
It's the writer solstice. Bring on the longer and sunnier stories!

The instructions don't look too bad for Linux people, but the $4-8 per month is too much for a retired guy. Maybe IPvanish will provide this one day for $1 per month, but I'll have to give up one sip of Scotch per month. I will miss the good Doctor, but he's hiding lately. Maybe he's somewhat bipolar like I am. :)
Massy cleaning hack - Let's take over that business from those other guys.
Buy the 75% vinegar bottle from ammie. Poke two tiny holes in the foil because you'll only need dribbles. For laundry stain removal mix in a tiny travel bottle with the snap open lid, a strong solution (1 to 4). Dribble this on the stains and wash as normal. For cleaning the bathroom, dribble a little in the sink with water. Do not sniff that dang stuff!
Since he seems to be doing something serious these days, I'd ask for suggestions. I'm thinking he would look good as Attila the Hun, or Vlad the youknow.

@seislologist rain rain rain The Pacific Belt will continue to be cold, which is sad for the whole world.
@girls_can In Canada, Tim Hortons has introduced a wooden coffee lid. Already there is a lawsuit for lip splinters.
@cyrilpedia The latest variant whipped through Toronto in August. I was really sick, and that made 3 times for me. Now, it seems the rest of the world is getting it. Or I hope it isn't a new variant.
#physics Momentum keeps cold water going -- It is universally acknowledged that La Nina must die. All 2023 forecasts incorporate this. However, the kinetic energy involved in this flow probably exceeds all known natural events.
@atomicpoet Yeah, middle of a land grab. Great thing to read before the morning coffee. --- maybe not.
Descended from Unix freaks, I evolved to Linux. Some people might consider me old at 60+, but I'm suing the world to get my age down to 30.
I have a blog https://ontario-geofish.blogspot.com/
and it is read by 8 people. My formal education is in an extinct branch of science called geophysics. Since there was no money in it, I went to engineering. I've done tunnels, radwaste thingies, etc.
