**Nerd's Guide to Girls** I am amused at the nerds here talking about 'What women want" Ha, ha. I am 100% single-focus nerd. It's an inherited mental condition that burns out your brain at age 40, and tries to kill you. The main symptom in high school is that you are terrified of girls. You try to get over it in University, but you have no hormones, and you can't react to female hormones. Everything is plastic. I did programming, physics, and read a lot. These days, the guys do endless computer games. The poor girls only have high-testosterone guys, who mop the floor with them. At some time they get sick of the abuse, but there are no alternatives.
At age 26 I had a high paying job, my own apartment overlooking the city and a car. I decided I should talk to girls. There followed a life, for a while, that should be a comedy. Eventually, I reproduced. All's good.

**Christmas gift pickles** This was a pickle kit that uses the brine method, which is the same as sauerkraut. In the background is the mandolin, nicknamed **Vlad the Impaler**. It has caused much blood. Now, the rule is to not go within 3 ft of it without the cut-proof gloves. These are a cheap ammie thing, with stainless steel threads. Much to the dismay of my cut fingertip, the 'safety' holder is useless.
