Actual small-town rural life maybe involved a rifle for hunting. Now reactionaries have been convinced by gun manufacturers, through their quislings at the NRA, that a true authentic American lifestyle involves owning multiple military weapons. Just absolute chumps.

Bottomless. You can't get ahead of it, you can't mock it. It's always stupider than you can imagine.

There is no end to the stupidity. It is bottomless.

You can try to think, "what is stupider than stupid? What's the absolute stupidest?" But you're outmatched here. You're out of your league. You have to train for years to be this stupid.

With the exception of a handful of famous historic events that happen once every few centuries, this is literally and demonstrably NOT how science progresses.

RFK Jr. and other anti-vaxxers have the nerve to sue multiple media outlets for allegedly boycotting coverage of the misinformation they are spreading.

2022 was the 5th warmest year on record in our @BerkeleyEarth@twitter.com surface temperature dataset, and the warmest year on record for regions where 850 million people live.

28 countries saw their warmest year on record, including the UK, Spain, France, Germany, New Zealand, and China.

The people who said “counting covid deaths within 28 days of a positive test would overcount” are the same people who will happily attribute anything bad that happens to someone after they’ve had a vaccine to the vaccine, how ever long ago they had it.
