Today’s homeward leg of my #bike #commute was in a #storm and the winds are from the south and are gusting up to around 50 km/h. There is also heavy rain and sporadic minor flooding along the route where drains have overflowed. My jacket and overtrousers kept me reasonably dry but my feet got soaked as water seeped in over the sides and through lace holes. Even my rucksack had its own waterproof to keep the contents (including my laptop) dry. It’s nice to come home, change and dry out.
