@iankenway

Well he eventually responded. The backlog wasn't specific to our email. He has a dedicated comms officer but despite that there is still well over a month backlog on any emails that include the topic of server submission.

From my own conversations it's the same expiernce atleast a dozen other admins have faced and mentioned to me in the past.

I agree it is very concerning.

Sounds like he needs an automated answering service to respond to emails with "it may take up to a month for a human to even look at your email." Or, as you recommended, a note on his mastodon.social profile, or in the README for the repository.

A stunning #waxing #crescent of the #Moon in the western sky from behind a #cloud. That’s a nice sight at #dusk.

@freemo @Gargron

This is very disturbing and disappointing news. What are the experiences of other instances of Mastodon?

@gemlog Sounds about right.

A friend who has been to some activities said "probably will just visit my local Lennon wall, that might be dangerous enough already". The Police have shown it doesn't matter if you're activist, journalist or civilian, if you're in the wrong area at the wrong time, anything could happen. The frequence of plainclothes officers firing live warning rounds is increasing, it's only a matter of time before one of them is slightly more careless.

We're staying in our safe little corner tomorrow. On a normal October 1st we might have gone to the harbor to catch the fireworks, but this year there will be no fireworks and going downtown is probably a very bad idea.

I'm not working today. Or fishing. Or picking mushrooms. Yikes!
Just took a walk around the block to give my body something to do and my brain a break from this computer screen. It isn't even 9am...
Anyhow, I've been living downtown for 2 years now, across from a middle school.
I was struck by the stark, but neat looking yard of one neighbour contrasted with the busy, but productive front yard of a house only two doors away. Raised beds, vegetables, flowers, a few chickens wandering about...

How a Newspaper Article Saved Thousands of Black Gospel Records From Obscurity

In an incredible oversight, the article fails to link the actual music!?
