Today's #Covid19Cymru figures look good at first glance, but Tuesday saw the lowest cases last week too, so the average still goes up.
667 new cases today, 7-day average 1026 (UP 10)
R (estimate) is at 1.09, down just 0.003 from yesterday.
Cases in #Ceredigion appear stable. 9 cases today takes the 7-day average to 16.29, DOWN 0.14.

The most encouraging graph is that of deaths, which if you look at the average line, is showing a fairly steady, though slow, decline, and that has been sustained even though the lockdown is well behind us now.
23 deaths today, 7-day average 22.43 (UP 0.29)

Too bad he is the alternative at our next election.
Today sees the third highest ever number of #Covid19Cymru cases - 1445. Whilst there have been surprises on the low side recently, there have also been some on the high side, such as this. The data are very erratic.
The 7-day average creeps back over 1000 (1000.4) for the first time in 19 days - UP 61.
The estimated R (using @Gareth_Jenks23@twitter/com 's suggested method of x-4/x where x is the most recent 7-day average) is now 1.16, that's up from 1.07 yesterday.

There were 29 deaths reported today, bringing the total to 2523. That takes the 7-day average up just a little - 0.29 - to 22.57.
The figures continue to climb in #Ceredigion, where there were 17 new cases, taking the 7-day average UP 1.9 to 17.9. Just one glance at the green average line on the chart shows the trend very clearly, and this is worrying.

And for those watching the Local Authority figures, here are your data. Rhondda Cynon Taf is back over 200 - the first (as far as I can remember) to get to those dizzy heights again since lockdown. And no fewer than four other local authorities see triple figures today, including - for the first time as far as I can remember - Torfaen, on exactly 100.

This is my view right now. On the hill towards the right there's a film crew currently filming for a countryside television programme on S4C. It's the end of November, and I'm sweating like mad despite not bringing a coat. Is this global warming or what?! I suspect it might be a bit of a Föhn effect tbh.
Amazon hires 427,000 people in 10 months. Not including contacters or temporary workers.
More importantly, they're also working with preschools to establish the foundation of tech education so that "as the hiring unfolds over the next 10 years, that pipeline is there and ready".
I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I find an Amazon led tech education quite scary. I'm all for tech education but I doubt that there won't be an agenda within th e education.
Today's #Covid19Cymru figures are pretty much in line with what I would have expected given the trend; i.e. they send the averages slightly up and are in line with expectations for the day of the week.
Cases: 1004
7-day average: 1028 (UP 28)
R (est): 1.14 (DOWN 0.02)
There were 16 new deaths reported today.
Total now 2,539
7-day average: 23.29 (UP 0.71)

The local authorities cases data is also attached here.
