They are great!
Instead of being developed by volunteers for the community they are developed for millionaires with the sole purpose of getting them more money and influence over the "users".

They contain ads and algorithms, so you don't have to decide, what you want to see, but you get to see what makes you addicted, so you view more ads, buy more stuff and thereby support the capitalist system that we all love.

Instead of anonymity you get to enter your phone number and other form of identification, which totally helps against hate speech, right?

I could go on with advantages, but I think it's best you check them out for yourselves.

Today’s a holiday in the #UK (Bank Holiday), an extra weekday off for Easter. My wife wanted to go on a slightly longer #bike trip and also somewhere new. So I chose #BictonPark. The total trip was just over a Marathon distance (it was 42.8 km) and mostly over some rural roads without a huge volume of traffic. The destination is quite nice though perhaps a bit too manicured. I’ll post a few interesting #photographs.

Lastly, there was a #museum in the park all about #rural life during the 19th century, including aspects of #agriculture but also other things such as how people entertained themselves.

Daughters family have been ill for 5 days. Continuous new cough, high temperature and generally unwell.
My daughter and her 6 week old baby are ok.
They have been doing lateral flow tests every day on each of them, it's a nasal test they got from school, they are teachers
All the tests are negative but, can we trust them and are there any updates proving that Omicron's new variants could evade LFT and/or PCR tests?

Numbers don't mean squat if you don't have the follow through. I've never sold a single piece of art through Insta. People on Insta like passively browsing through images and tapping the heart. For an artist, it's a useless audience.
