The Key to the #Brexit Backstory
https://inequality.org/research/the-key-to-the-brexit-backstory/ "from 1979 onwards they cut the pay of the poorest in a myriad of ways and vilified immigrants in the newspapers"

i love how now it's common to put a whole computer inside a tiny chip. cpu, power supply, memory, storage, wifi and bluetooth, and more devices, in a few cubic millimeters. and i'm reading a 459 pages pdf to hack one and draw triangles

We're living through extraordinary times. People need to get real. Facebook, Google, Twitter etc took us for a ride. We need to sequestrate their profits and distribute them appropriately. Also we need to develop new paradigms for social media i.e. properly audited and scrutable algorithms. In short - let's take action, let's regain control of our lives.

A good day for the world's ‘children’…

… even if in the UK people have to put up with the usual No 10 downpour!

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO – to all the kids who left the Σχολείο and took to the streets. I hope this happens more often! There’s more to education than ‘jumping through hoops’!

Naïve? Absolutely not! We can live without politicians (sort of) but we definitely cannot survive without Planet Earth, our Mother and our dearest Friend!

Chris Grayling

Guardian Comments

nolongeradoc

"Grayling is, to me, the spitting image of so many mid level NHS managers.

"There's something in his floundering, his meaningless bonhomie, his faux sincerity and his inability to appear decisive or really in control that takes me right back to so many pointless, mind-numbing meetings in shabbily furnished, airless rooms - broken watercooler, missing ceiling tiles, stained carpets, yellowed noticeboards, constant trivial interruptions - where everybody knew, right from the start, that nothing of any consequence and nothing of any benefit for actual patients was going to arise.

"He even dresses the part."

"Grayling. Britain's best... " a transport secretary with basic motor skills.""
