Mr Jones said: “They are rapidly becoming an English nat party both in England and in Wales. It’ll be Scotland next. Democracy in Wales and Scotland is not safe in their hands.

The idea is called simultaneity. What that means is that two events that appear simultaneously to one observer (in one frame of reference) is not necessarily simultaneous in another frame of reference.
In this case the two events are the closing and re-opening of each of the barn doors. While that occurs simultaneously from the perspective of the barn and the person doing it, from the perspective of the ship they are not. So while the ship's perspective looks like it cant fit into the barn, and in reality it cant fit in the barn from its perspective, it doesnt have to. From the ships perspective the doors are never closed at the same time. one door closes, then opens, then the other door closes and opens, all at the right time to ensure the ship passes through without crashing through a door.
So while from the ships perspective the ship was never enclosed (both doors shut with it inside) in the too-small-to-fit barn, from the barns perspective where it is more than big enough the ship was, in fact, enclosed inside for a moment.

Today's #Covid19Cymru headlines:
The fairly rapid fall in the number of cases continues. Deaths are very slightly up, though that's probably just noise at this stage.
The exceptional fall in cases of yesterday (which I suggested was suspect) probably was indeed a little unrealistic, though not so far off the mark as I thought it might be. Along with today's figure - which is not quite such a dramatic drop on a week ago (but still a relatively good one),
1/4
today's figures confirm that there has been an acceleration in the rate of fall. 1172 new cases were reported (cf 1660 last Sunday).
7-day average: 1487 - DOWN 70.
Positivity is also low - at just 14.0%. This is the lowest it's been for a long time. When fewer tests come back positive, it suggests we're finding a higher percentage of actual cases, and that cases really are down. It's no accurate measure of course, but it is a pointer.
2/4
R (estimate): 0.81 - UP 0.01
If, as I suggest, yesterday's figures were slightly too low, the fact that R is only up a little today is good news. It also suggests my doubt yesterday was correct. The last time R was this low was on Tue 10th Nov, as we came out of Lockdown2.
#Ceredigion sees a slight rise: 17 cases keeping the county's average frustratingly in the high teens.
7-day average: 17.71 - UP 0.86
3/4
There were 48 deaths. Although this takes the 7-day average up a little, at this stage that's probably just noise. When dealing with lower figures (compared to, e.g. cases) noise is more apparent. The wider trend is down, since the peak on 7/1.
7-day average: 44.29 - UP 0.43

More than 7 in 10 Canadians support barring unvaccinated people from businesses: Nanos survey
This bothers me. I'm not opposed to any of the vaccines that I know of - I'll take a jab when one becomes on offer for me, but I wonder how this will be Policed? Soviet style demanding Boomagas! at the door? A tattoo on the forehead? What?

A good way to fight against #Facebook's anti-privacy ways is to ditch #WhatsApp today.
This is already happening in droves since there is a "share data with Facebook or else" in play.
There are better solutions. They don't need to be perfect, but they should be encrypted as a start and weigh your options for other needs.
One thing to avoid is texting over SMS as an alternative, as this is not secure.
Is Mastodon really decentralized and censorship resistant? what if amazon or any cloud provider decide to go after some or all the instances like it did with parler? i think a master piece is still missing like IPFS or STORJ on blockchain as decentralized storage filesystem, i think also that we should look at some early decentralized application like emails and learn from the mistake's that allowed Google as gmail and MS as hotmail and yahoo to takeover by implementing restriction on who is allowed and not to send emails, now day's even if you implement all the good practice ( domainkey, spf...) you'll still not be allowed to direct message to inbox unless the IP is warmed up for few month's or years or whitelisted explicitly. fighting spam should also be thought in a decentralized way.
Here are today's #Covid19Cymru headlines:
Cases still trending down. R falls again. Deaths still high.
There were 1808 cases reported today. Friday tends to be the highest of the week, so the fact that it is up on yesterday is not a concern. It's significantly down on a week ago.
7-day average: 1735 - DOWN 97
