Things free-software actually needs a replacement for, rather than more Alexa clones:

- the thing that remembers your wifi networks & passwords across Android devices

- the thing in GMail that notices "due dates" and creates optional reminders for them

- The thing that notices when email & SMS contacts have the same name and provides a button to merge them

- Yours?

#morsi is dead, but Western powers are very happy; like #lula in #brazil what we have here is the marginalisation of people's popular demand in favour of remotely-controlled oligarchs'/multinationals' puppet masters with their faux nationalism

And Thatcher also brought in Right to Buy, which transitioned council housing stock in to private ownership.

When I bought the LP of #Quadrophenia by #TheWho many decades ago, I always loved the second track entitled #TheRealMe but for years I couldn’t quite put my finger on why I liked it so much. Then it dawned on me that it basically an incredible #drum solo and #bass solo with some lyrics and a guitar playing in the background.

@fribbledom Years ago I found XP to run faster in QEMU than on the real hardware.
This time around, Win10 was a dog in a VM and could barely run on the real iron in the first place :-(

Hey, if you're in school and are having trouble paying for your textbooks, search them up on libgen.io to find them for free.

I'm realizing that a lot of people at my college don't know this and are skipping meals to afford overpriced textbooks, so it may help someone on here too. #sharingiscaring
