Still no clean water for First Nations in Canada.
The Trudeau government of canada has admitted failure in providing clean drinking water on reserves and lifting boil water drinking advisories.
A reminder of their promises and current track record:

Today's #Covid19Cymru case figures appear very high, but they make sense when viewed as a correction after the past two days, when lower than expected figures were reported. If you look at the graph, it's clear that today's figure has brought us back on track (green) with the recent trend.
Clearly that's a worrying trend; the last couple of days had given some hope, but today makes more sense statistically. The 7-day ave now stands at 1108 - UP 82 (but up just 80 on what it was 3 days ago).

My estimate of R now stands at 1.11 (UP 0.02).

51 deaths is the second highest ever recorded in a single day. Doubtless that's a rebound after a weekend which included lower than usual figures. Nonetheless, it brings the total to 2614 and the 7-day average to 24.0 - UP 1.57.

#Ceredigion saw a further 13 cases. That's the only good news today; this brings the 7-day average to 15.0, DOWN 1.29.

Just had an eye-opening teaching experience.

Don't show them code and explain it to them. Show them code and make them explain it to you.

What a great video and some excellent points. Personally I love the fact that Peertube won't work well with monetization (capitalists run in fear:) )

It will grow, but organically, no rush. Once there are smaller communities that pop up with strict codes of conduct or even specific themes like we have on Mastodon it will be amazing.

Just like Framasoft points out, there is no taking on Google, and we don't want to. This is the most important thing to remember, we don't need to make money (other than hosting) plus with activitypub the fediverse does things that corporations would never be able to do!

It was quite a nice day today, despite what the weatherman predicted. Blue skies and sunshine. Plus 2-3C I'm sure. Check out the beautiful snowy mountains in the background. My reality is to be surrounded 360deg by such. It's great! :-)

Today's #Covid19Cymru figures look good at first glance, but Tuesday saw the lowest cases last week too, so the average still goes up.
667 new cases today, 7-day average 1026 (UP 10)
R (estimate) is at 1.09, down just 0.003 from yesterday.

Cases in #Ceredigion appear stable. 9 cases today takes the 7-day average to 16.29, DOWN 0.14.

The most encouraging graph is that of deaths, which if you look at the average line, is showing a fairly steady, though slow, decline, and that has been sustained even though the lockdown is well behind us now.
23 deaths today, 7-day average 22.43 (UP 0.29)

Too bad he is the alternative at our next election.

Today sees the third highest ever number of #Covid19Cymru cases - 1445. Whilst there have been surprises on the low side recently, there have also been some on the high side, such as this. The data are very erratic.
The 7-day average creeps back over 1000 (1000.4) for the first time in 19 days - UP 61.
The estimated R (using @Gareth_Jenks23@twitter/com 's suggested method of x-4/x where x is the most recent 7-day average) is now 1.16, that's up from 1.07 yesterday.
