52 new deaths were recorded today, which is strange, because the total given means that there were 30 yesterday (did I miss a release of death figures yesterday?). The deaths figure is however significant; the average (which is probably about right) is now over 30 (30.67). I feared this would happen, and actually it happened about when I predicted, given the low in cases a few weeks ago after the half term lockdown.

#Ceredigion sees 52 new cases, which given that the national figure is at least 4 times what we would have expected for today, is not bad (52/4=13). But this is all very speculative; we'll need to wait a few days before we can spot trends with any confidence again.

Yup. I said the half term lockdown would not be enough to see us through to Christmas. They promised too much and were too afraid to go back on it. If that was expert advice, they've got the wrong experts (I did offer - seriously!). Now they're paying the price.

@AngharadHafod
Totally agree! I have just cancelled Christmas with my kids. Much safer.
We will try to have it at Easter instead! 🙄

Madam curie is such a bad ass! It saddens me she isnt farther towards the top of role models on the feminist agenda. She is such an amazing example.

It seems there is one universal personality trait that every great that made their way into the history books all share.. Failure motivated them rather than demotivating them.. Not sure that helps anyone to know, as it isnt something you can just replicate. But it does seem to be the key to success all the same.

I have to admit, when I watched the movie Radioactive (a movie about the life of Madam curie) the last thing I was expecting was to see titties, lol. It mostly just made me giggle especially as it was a somewhat unexpected scene.
