#BorisJohnson has got a lot of time on his hands at the moment. Why isn’t he spending at least some of it in Ukraine as he was recently? What’s that? He actually didn’t care about the Russian invasion or the people of Ukraine and just did it for political popularity back home?

As the #Sunset approaches, there are some #clouds which cast aerial shadows giving a nice blend of #colours, including #greys in addition to the #blues and #oranges and even a bit of #green. Maybe there’s too much #silhouetted #horizon.

I'm not surprised that the first analyses of the first Webb data seem to indicate that galaxies in the early universe are more massive than the standard model of cosmology predicts.

I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

I'm also seeing (in UK) valid company credit cards within limit (Mastercard and Visa) rejected on websites of both big and small companies without any involvement of Paypal on all browsers - to the point both myself and the Finance Manager at work have to try multiple cards for various companies and just pick the one that works. It seems Visa and Mastercard have changed their security validation methods and many e-commerce processors have not caught up with this..

I suspect China's grip runs even deeper than that of Russia; 'Made in China' is on most things we own. Whole industries, sectors, are in their palm. It will be interesting to see how the US and EU respond, under that pressure, should the PLA be commanded to invade (seemingly when, not if).

@NationCymru The odd thing about this is that Cy,ru already generates twice the amount of electricity that it uses. And a considerable part of that is renewable (I'm not sure how much). So the reality is that this is generating electricity for export (mostly to England).

I guess it's another of those things we won't actually see any real benefit from until independence.

News that data brokers continue to sell personal data about pregnant people are concerning.

One such data broker offers names, emails and mailing addresses of more than 23,000 expecting parents.

Here's why we're worried 🧵 nitter.net/politico/status/155
