I'm finally reading the DevEx in Action queue piece and HOW are these ITEMS "cognitive load"

They link to sources that have not defined these items as survey items either

Like these seem like items that provide a signal of something but I am really not seeing why these belong to a single construct. Constructs aren't just decisions we get to make about what we want to group

These could proxy a generalized "friction" construct I guess? There already are friction at work scales out there

Here I don't talk much about my students and the work at the university; much of it is not secret but the students deserve to learn and grow outside a lot of very public scrutiny.
But to give you an idea: over this two-week period, I will listen to about ninety student presentations:

Seeing the colossal dome of ESO's Extremely Large #Telescope moving for the first time is mind-blowing! 🤯

In this first test engineers used special hydraulic devices to rotate the dome 10 m back and forth at 1 cm/s. Once it's operational it'll move at about 5 km/h with motorised bogies.

Quite impressive, as the skeleton currently weighs ~2500 tons and it'll weigh ~6100 tons when finished!

Adding it to your git config will make the command `git branch` sort by last used branches instead of alphabetical. No more trying to remember what I called that last branch!

SLIM'S ALIVE!! The team reestablished communication with the spacecraft after the Sun inched round in the sky and hit the solar panels. Wild science'ing instantly began!

I don't think #SLIM has a long lunar surface program. It is primarily a technology demonstration to test the image matching navigation (100% success) and 2-step landing (busted due to the loss of one of the two main engines). So I think the multi-band camera will snap hundreds of images while the Sun is up, and then be done.

GrapheneOS is the first platform using ARM hardware memory tagging in production. This provides a form of memory safety for memory unsafe languages. It has a high random chance of catching most memory corruption and always catches certain major classes of memory corruption bugs.
