I have now given an entire exam from my class (introductory #programming in #Haskell) to #ChatGPT , and the AI scored 63.5%, which is bang on the average for the class. Extremely fast too, of course. This accords with my earlier less formal impression that ChatGPT is not yet good enough for more advanced courses (although it might still be helpful, depending on the course), but is a serious #plagiarism risk for very early courses that focus on the nuts and bolts of line-by-line programming.
