@mhamzahkhan Woah woah woah my guy, have you checked out the online glasses retailers? I usually get my whole glasses, frames and all, for less than 100 bucks (with blue light blocking, antiscratch, antiglare, etc. lenses too!).

I order from EyeBuyDirect, and while they don't have a UK region, I'm sure there has to be something where you live that's roughly equivalent. Alternatively, they do have a french region, so maybe you could take a quick trip across the channel to save some cash on your glasses xD

@freemo @maze Seems like you need a shield/coat of arms to go in front of it now. Next it will be a suit of armor in this corner to really balance the feng shui; then a period accurate trebuchet in the lounge to "keep employees in line"...

This sort of slippery slope is what we get for starting the accumulation of medieval weaponry as a means of decorations, freemo! I hope you reflect on this and learn your lesson while basking in the envious tears of...well at least me, and probably some others on here who like sharp, shiny things 😂

Also, that just means you have to get your pruning game on! BONSAI THESE BAD BOYS (you know, just without the miniaturizing part).

Or, you could get a dog to protect the ducks which are protecting the garden...but then you'll need something to protect the dog, hmm...🤔 I think it will be a guarden instead of a garden in no time.

@trinsec You can set up an "electric fence" for snails using a (I think) 9V battery. Its just 2 wires that are about half the length of the snails body apart, as they try to cross both, they keep getting a jolt and eventually leave.

Alternatively: go get some ducks. They will eat every last snail they can find! They're used in Asia to keep snails off of rice fields, and in the US on other staple crops and veggies.

@Pat @lucifargundam @trinsec Personally, as someone with loads of family all over the disability and neurodivergent spectrum, our policy has always been it's fine to poke fun at the condition, but never at anyone with said condition.

However, I can totally see how some people with speech impediments may see our conversation as hurtful, which was not the intention and I hope that is not viewed in such a way.

Sorry if I made you uncomfortable Pat, I'll try to be more mindful of this in the future.
