Oh no! My Pioneer Laseractive died today. Short buzz / bang inside, smoke et all, no more picture, still not sure which of the low voltage boards is affected. I hope I can fix it. If you know anyone that could help to bring it back to life, please DM me. Would even travel with it to get it fixed. #followerpower

I knew it was spelled ‘connoisseur!’
Well, I mean, I didn't. That's why I misspelled it yesterday. But I knew I was misspelling it somehow. I even searched for it. Unfortunately, the search returned so many results that it seemed plausible that I had gotten it right.

In a world that is buckling under the weight of profit making, that is overrun by the destructive sirens of Techno-science and the power hunger of globalization -- that new brand of slavery -- beyond all that, friendship exists, love exists.

What's wrong with you, Fedi? Joan Didion has died and I had to go to Twitter to find out.
Maybe we need a little less shitposting and a little more real talk, I don't know.

Also also, supposing that there was enough time and resources to create a serious study in less than a month, I very much doubt that there was time to have it peer-reviewed.
The Omicron variant was discovered less than a month ago. How can scientists create studies so fast? And how accurate can they be? Also how can they distinguish between the natural effects of a variant so mild that very seldom requires hospitalisation and a vaccine protecting people from said hospitalisation?

Trying to stream straight from RetroArch. So far it's working OK-ish, but I have no audio. No audio either when doing simple recording. Audio works fine in-game.
Any idea? ffmpeg seems to be working, and I can convert audio files to mp3 or aac codecs just fine with it.

Any hint on decoding a weather station packet sent through 433MHz channel using a handy connected to fldigi or something? #radio #hamradio #weatherstation #uhf
