I'm a big fan of the mRNA vaccine tech, and have received both Pfizer and Moderna shots.

This gouging is just sickening.

"Moderna is quadrupling the cost of covid vaccines, from $26/dose to $110-130. Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel calls the price hike "consistent with the value" of the mRNA vaccines. Moderna's manufacturing costs are $2.85/dose, for a 4,460% markup..."

My wife Sarah firmly out on the picket line at the Christie Hospital in Manchester earlier today. 💪

She loves her work as a nurse so much, but she’s ruined after every 13+ hour shift being run ragged trying to care for more patients than is safe. With no breaks. Lucky if she gets to go to the toilet. It’s not on.

Oh and did anyone say, the pay is also pitiful. Small wonder they can’t recruit more nurses.

A recent exomoon detection method paper shows that by measuring the reflex motion of gas giant exoplanets you can detect exomoons orbiting them! Unfortunately the most promising exoplanet is Beta Pictoris b, which is not observable from Keck... but CRIRES+ and VLT can do it ;-) Ruffio+ (2023): "Detecting exomoons from radial velocity measurements of self-luminous planets: application to observations of HR 7672 B" https://arxiv.org/abs/2301.04206

So, just to avoid any confusion, when you run Windows 11, the product you are using is Windows 10. The Windows version is 2009 (which of course doesn't fall between versions 2008 and 2016, duh). So if you are using Windows Server 2022, the product is called 2022 but the version is 2009 because those two numbers seem like the same but they aren't.

The "Windows Current Version" for Windows 11 is 6.3. But don't use that number because Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 were also version 6.3. Windows 8 was 6.2.

Or if you want, just use build number 22621, also known as 22H2. The version 22H2 update is also called the "Windows 11 2022 update" because there never was a 22H1. But at least they changed their naming scheme and didn't call it Fall update because it was spring in half the world when it came out, heh.
