There has been a lot of buzz around the Nabu PC from Canada recently. Being that I had never heard of it before, I wasn't particularly interested. Then I saw some chatter about being able to image the disks, but they couldn't be written back to disk successfully. So of course being the masochist I am, this suddenly became very interesting to me. So I poked @MrGoodBits who was seemingly in the middle of the Nabu investigation and that had access to working disks, a Nabu, and an Applesauce.

I’m looking to hire a few senior product managers to join my team.

You’ll work on some interesting things while making services better for San Franciscans.

The team is supportive and kind, and all our jobs are union jobs.

I saw someone do an #introduction for their cat, and thought I'd do the same.

I adopted Tennessee a year ago, when he was 13. His first 3 years were in a hoarding household, but he got rescued by Homeless Cat Network & adopted by a volunteer there. When she got too sick to care for him, she returned him to HCN where I found him. This photo was the one HCN posted. I wanted an older cat; we're a good match.

He was named (not by me) for the old cartoon Tennessee Tuxedo. #CatsOfMastodon

It's 1:30 am on a Friday night and I'm finally getting to reading the indictment of Rivera and his partner Esther Nuhfer for failure to register as foreign agents. Summing it up in a thread since I'm not writing about this for work.

I don't have the energy to argue with the people who tell me that by linking to ElonJet's Mastodon account, I am supporting stalking because I don't think they are arguing in good faith. They are weirdly unconcerned with stalking, harassment, or threats to people who don't own private jets, such as the gay former Twitter employee Elon falsely claimed supported pedophilia last week.

Remember: Twitter is Elon's company, he has the free speech and free association right to run it pretty much however he wants and to ban people for petty narcissistic reasons.

And we have the right to laugh and point at his ridiculousness and at the free-speech pretenses of his gullible fans.
