We leven in vreemde tijden. Er is iets met het concept ‘werkelijkheid’ aan de hand. Een corrupt WK wordt fantastisch genoemd, een narcistische miljardair streeft naar vrijheid door iedereen die hij niet leuk vindt te bannen, een Russische dictator bestrijdt ‘nazi’s’ door infrastructuur en ziekenhuizen te bombarderen, leugenaars en ophitsers zitten overal in parlementen en het gewone volk wordt bang gemaakt voor dingen die niet bestaan. Hoe komen we weer terug naar een gedeelde waarheid?

As a security professional, not much scares me. I've seen my personal data stolen numerous times, watched nationstate hackers spray zerodays across the internet, and I'm a shameless user of TikTok. But now you have someone sitting on top of the personal data of several billion users, someone who has a long track record of vindictive harassment, someone who has the ear of the far right, and someone who has just shown us his willingness to weaponize internal company data to score political points. That scares me a lot.

@Tea No problem. The most important thing for newcomers to get used to is that because there is no algorithm feeding you content, you need to seek it out. Search for hashtags and follow accounts and other hashtags that you find this way. Always include hashtags in your post so that others can find you.

This is Maria Czechowska, my father's first wife. She remained in Warsaw during the German occupation but was caught working for the Polish resistance. She was taken to the Pawiak jail where her family managed to stop her immediate execution. However she was then taken to Auschwitz and murdered there on 10 January 1944. Prisoner number 69336. Remember her. #auschwitz

11 December 1894 | A Jewish woman, Salomea Strul, was born in Constantinople in Ottoman Empire. During the war, she lived in Paris.

On 30 September 1942, she was deported from Drancy to Auschwitz. She was murdered in a gas chamber on 2 October 1942.
