Las comparaciones… #threads y #mastodon

i was going to wait to tell the “who called it ‘secret santa’ instead of ‘non-disclosure claus’?” joke until it was closer to christmas, but i figured i’d totally forget, so i’m telling it now.

Fediverse has the rare opportunity to strike a solid blow against Facebook and its tentacles

Mass blocking #Threads would not only humiliate Zuckerberg, but send a message that this space is safe from the data barons

Publicity would be immense, alerting hundreds of millions of potential users who care about their privacy and the open web

"This free introduction to #permaculture is meant for the novice and the professional alike, with no prior experience necessary. For the person new to permaculture #design and land #stewardship, this #book will provide a foundation from which to build upon with subsequent training, and introduce a new perspective that can be applied in many careers and facets of life.
For the #gardener, #farmer, nurseryman, architect, #landscaper, land manager, developer, engineer, aid worker, planner or #activist, this book can help to deepen and focus the good work you’re already doing, and provide a grounding in the permaculture design process that you can apply in your current endeavors. The book is not teaching specific techniques as much as a system and process of design which can be used to enhance work in many different fields." https://open.oregonstate.education/permaculture/front-matter/introduction/

¡Gracias!

🚨Breaking! The European Parliament just called for rules to tackle addictive design of online services! My report was adopted with 545 votes in favour.
The Parliament is clear. Europe has to lead the way. Now it's up to the Commission to turn this into proposals.
