ALAN LAVENDER @lavenderlens@social.cleverlibre.org

NOW I get it. Why was this not explained before!? #beer

This probably describes me better than any intro

Lovely to see mstdn.social being very performant this morning. Not sure if that's because election stuff is done, Americans are asleep or @stux has done more magic.
Remember mastodon servers ain't funded by ads or data-selling folks.
If you can, help your admin. For this instance, check out https://hub.mstdn.social/about/

For all it's advantages and faults, #Mastodon was not built to be a *new* Twitter. It was built to be *not* Twitter.

That distinction is important.

@stephenfry Did someone point out https://fedi.tips or https://mastodon.help yet? Both worth a read

#StephenFry has deleted his #twitter account and left his 12.5m followers behind. He's moved to mastodonapp.uk where I expect the admins were hoping for some respite from the twitter influx...hopefully he mentioned it to someone there first. 🤔

I’m starting this account and my first post is on the #fullmoon #bloodmoon #lunareclipse #BeaverMoon in Taurus.

My feels

#infosec #hacktheplanet

Let's hope this move from Twitter to the Fediverse make people think about the apps they use and how these apps exploit them as users and how these apps violate their privacy? #fedi #askfedi #apps #privacy

I have never seen such a concentration of kind, interesting people, cool things to learn about, and dopamine supply in my life. Y'all are fabulous. #mastodon

Ok, I’m going to try starting a thing

If you are new to Mastodon,
and you have a short question about Mastodon,
start your toot (post) with #MastodonQuestion

If you are a Mastodon Elder,
and you know things,
click on #MastodonQuestion to help newcomers when you have some time 😊

Let’s ask and answer about the technical part but also about the cultural part! This is important.

Stay kind and have fun discovering! 💚💫🐘

Also check #FediTips and follow @feditips to receive regular tips in your feed!

I'll admit, I'm already more of a fan of this decentralized dwelling over the bird site. Just feels more community based, and, most importantly, people actually see my poor excuse for jokes.

Hey, I'm Sam! I'm a Senior Community Manager who has been in the Games Industry since 2015!

I'm currently working with @RiyoGames on a JRPG called Threads of Time! 🎉
