Had an interesting conversation with a colleague this week re Large Language Models. Crossref has signed POSI, so everything we produce should be open/reproducible. The use of non-open LLMs to complete a task - even when they work well, like reference matching - violates this.

Spring’s here. New shoots are popping up everywhere, and we have to try to remember what we planted.
