Many free speech absolutists seem not to realize that it’s not just defending people they like, like Nazis and religious weirdos. If they truly believe in free speech, they have to defend all sorts of unpalatable types, even schoolteachers and librarians and children they don’t like the look of.

When XKCD describes the #urbanism movement like this, it starts to feel like the winds of society are changing.
My own story is a bit different, but then I don’t live in the US. My home town of #stockholm is pushing bicycle infrastructure forward with every year that passes.
Never quickly enough, of course, because the traffic increases outpace the city infrastructure: we have actual bicycle traffic jams at some points. https://xkcd.com/2832/
Ok, now it’s leapt forward 20 years. No idea what the logic is.
I asked Siri to play Digging in the Dirt by Peter Gabriel on the HomePods, and it’s now following up with a whole series of songs from 8th to 10th grade.

Did you know that it used to be legal to fire women for not wearing pantyhose?
The "clothing according to biological sex" people want to bring back the laws that allowed that.

If a colleague (especially one early in their career) has done great work and you spot a prize/award they're eligible for, nominate them for it. It'll take you a few mins, but could make a massive difference to their CV.

Set up new phone
Transfer old watch automagically
Then setup new watch
It should bring everything over and allow you to restore from watch backup then.

If you're still using the developer beta profile for your phone you won't see the 17.0.1 security release that just dropped.

Watched the Barbie movie again, that film is just so great - the jokes land so hard, plus the musical numbers are even more fun the second time you see them
@fsousa Yep, my concern is that HK authorizations won’t work as expected. The good news is that your current app setup works on device. I wouldn’t mess with that while the HK team investigates the simulator issue.
