"...it feels like the government has granted motorists total carte blanche to pull all sorts of questionable maneuvers in the streets while the self-preservation instincts of cyclists are barely tolerated. You could say I’ve become radicalized!"

@hidde Always file Feedback if something isn’t working the way you expect! Even if it’s “behaves correctly,” (a) at least now you know, and (b) now _we_ know what you want to do. :-)
@parrots Oh I see, you were saying that you wish this API had been available back then. :-)
@parrots Do you really still support Series 0 watches with Slopes?
If all announced clean energy manufacturing projects are realised, solar & battery manufacturing already meet the needs for 2030 to stay on track for net zero. Wind, heat pumps & electrolysers are not yet on track but are expanding rapidly.
Data from International Energy Agency (IEA) graph from Energy Monitor.
We should do this in Canada too: https://cleantechnica.com/2023/02/09/new-law-50-solar-power-over-parking-lots-in-france/
France ... requires that that large parking lots have at least 50% of their lot covered in solar canopies.
@brunoph oh, you got the female! I could hear her (and maybe some babies?) in the grass, but I couldn’t see her. Just got the male.
Juneteenth (June 19th) is not a "holiday celebrating when news of the end of slavery finally reached Texas." No. Just no. Y'all make it sound like network latency! Like we were playing Fortnite, and all the Black players were lagging.🤡
Juneteenth is when the racist state of Texas took another very public L. Texas did everything it could to keep slavery going as long as possible. They gave up land to Oklahoma, so they could be below the slavery line. The Alamo was a victory for abolitionists.
@shloka so good!!
@matt1corey You know it! 🏒🥅
Now, almost all of Airbnb’s new screens and components in our latest launch were built using SwiftUI, and the vast majority of engineers said that SwiftUI made them more efficient without regressing the user-facing quality of their screens.
There will be a blog post published soon with many more details, but suffice to say that SwiftUI is definitely ready for broad adoption, and if adopted intentionally can improve the experience of building even the largest scale iOS apps!
