Zenitizer, an excellent meditiation app from Manuel Kehl was recently updated with iCloud sync support. The app's design is impeccable and a great example of the strengths of SwiftUI when it's scaled from watchOS to larger screen sizes.

There are a lot of steps involved in preparing an iOS project for remote push notifications. I thought it would be nice to have everything summarized in one place, so I just published a blog post that describes all the necessary setup: https://nilcoalescing.com/blog/RemotePushSetup
It includes the app capability configuration, requesting user permission, getting the device token and testing the push with the new Push Notifications Console from Apple.

It is possible and easy to recognize the limitations and insufficiency of electoral politics and still use voting as one action among many to facilitate change.
Listen to what black people and queer people are saying.
I roll my eyes when the *only* response people have to injustice is "Vote!1!" I roll my eyes more at the idea that not voting is some big brain 5D chess radical move that lets you operate outside the system.
Use every lever of power you can reach. Every single one.

The GOP hates that voting has real consequences, that it's small form of power and that "just anyone" even those who they see as unAmerican and non-persons can vote. It's intolerable to them.
Democratic leadership is also somewhat uncomfortable with widespread suffrage. (Fans of the party will argue with me about this. But, from what I've seen they will cheerlead for more people to vote right up until they have *just enough* to win.)
I want everyone to vote. EVERYONE.

Most productive day I've had in weeks, and it feels good!
Rebuilt my Budget Summary Widget using the new Widget style, and added lots of interactivity, including the ability to enter Budget Review, and iterate through the list of visible Expenses, if the list is longer than what's shown (added this to the Bills Due Widget as well 😉)
Only thing left for my iOS 17 Widget work is to bring back the green 'theme' from the current version.
Updated Test Flight coming tomorrow!

Dozens of people in Maui have died and hundreds have lost their homes because of wildfires, fanned by hurricane winds.

@tomn94 @kylesethgray @chockenberry @_Davidsmith I do have multiple watches paired with a single phone and sometimes switch between them, but only one is active for sleeping at a time.
@chockenberry @kylesethgray @_Davidsmith Yeah, I did hear that. Might be worthwhile to get a used/refurbished device for testing?
@chockenberry @kylesethgray @_Davidsmith Endless, no… but a worthwhile investment to have a *couple* at least if your app(s) support multiple device specs and OS versions. What Kyle (and I, in my earlier reply) are referring to, tho, is that you might get strange, and not real-world, results if you’re wearing both devices paired to a single phone at the same time.
@chockenberry @_Davidsmith Are both watches paired to the same phone? Wearing them both at once if that’s the case is going to be a weird experience indeed. (My watches are paired to different phones, and the third is a Family Setup watch.) The correct way to turn off Sleep tracking per watch is to go to Settings > Sleep on the watch, scroll down, and tap Don’t Use This Watch for Sleep.
