Try out CKSyncEngine today to sync your app’s data to CloudKit!

Remember to file feedback early and often about any enhancements you’d like to see or bugs you might find.

We can’t wait to see what you build!

CKSyncEngine is already in use by several apps and services across the system, for example Freeform and NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore.

Can you spot all the usages across the OS?

I would highly recommend looking at the tests in the sample project.

They show an easy way to test your sync logic and error handling.

By writing automated tests like this, you can ensure that your app syncs properly today, tomorrow, and forever.

If you would otherwise be writing your own custom sync engine (hi @marcoarment), you should use CKSyncEngine.

What used to be 5,000 lines of code is now 500. Syncing with CloudKit has never been easier 🌤️

These videos truly take an army to produce and I am so grateful to everyone at Apple who helped make this shine.

There are a lot of bad takes about the Vision Pro, saying it has no value. What if you were like me. I have 40% hearing and have wanted to turn on subtitles for real life since a decade ago. I work from home and have tools which help me hear things. I can’t remember the last time I had to ask someone to repeat themselves.

Imagine you have an immune system disorder, but you still want to have a job and friends without putting your life at risk.

There are more of these. Use your imagination.

I woke up to the hum of my mind spinning at an unknown hour in the middle(?) of the night for an unknown duration (as I didn’t dare check the time), so now I’m running on Schrödinger’s sleep. Must be due to all the #WWDC23 excitement paired with several strong brews of pu-erh tea that I had over the course of the afternoon 😅

Today’s WWDC videos will drop soon. It’ll feel overwhelming and there’ll be things you don’t understand. Remember that goes for everyone, no matter if they’re just getting started with iOS development or have done it for a decade. We’re all in this together 🫶 #WWDC #WWDC23

One of the best things I learned about WWDC is to not be shy about signing up for labs.

Don't hesitate because you're not a big company/app.

Don't hesitate because you think your code isn't "good enough".

Don't hesitate because you're not thrilled with how your app looks.

DO IT and you can get such good feedback and/or knowledge.

One of my favorite labs was when I told the Xcode team "I'm sure I don't use 10% of Xcode's features. Please show me cool things." and they did!
