North Dakota politicians just raised their meal reimbursement to $45 while rejecting a bill for free school lunch, which costs only $3 per meal. That means, for the price of one politician's lunch, you could feed 15 low-income kids — socialism for me, but not for thee.

Every single stance that conservatives have can be traced back to trying to move us back into an era of patriarchy and white supremacy.

That’s why it’s futile to point out the hypocrisy in terms like “pro-life” or “protect our kids.” For them, it’s about stripping the personhood from people who threaten their way of life, and they come up with these terms to get more people on their side.

Question for those who say prosecuting a former president sets a dangerous precedent:

Isn’t it more dangerous to set a precedent that a former president will never face accountability if they broke the law?
