#Fireworks spam from the other night. We celebrated early because someone wasn't going to be with us on the 4th.

Not as hot as previous days, but sheesh I would rather stay inside... 94*F

Proper way to put on a respirator?? Hmm... Let's take a look at my references... Maybe I need more, to get a more in-depth understanding of proper preparation and operation?

New pool. Set it up last night and took 4 hrs to fill.

More baby bird news. It's still alive here on a Freiday morning. Going to make some calls while I'm on the clock working- see who I can give the baby bird to. I didn't see a nest out there this morning, but did see one of its dead siblings at the base of a tree.

Was working on my car tonight when I saw the baby bird from earlier today (in the front yard, in the grass) hiding under one of the wheels. Tonight is cooling down and a bit windy. I would sleep fine in this weather, but no idea about a baby bird.

I stopped working on the car and put the baby bird in an old pet container with some dry grass from the yard as a improvised nest.

I'll feed it tomorrow and see about sending it off to the right people who can take care of it until it's ready to go back home.
