iirc, the current system was implemented inb4 modern electric rail system. the cost to replace it is apparently significant to taxpayers so it will unlikely be updated soon. There have been a few attempts to start such a rail system to connect north/south california, only to be left with no work done and raised taxes.

I noticed that at least a handul of potential bugs/fixes for #mobian are blocked by intents to stay with specific libraries/etc- i figure ill try to implement them independantly to see if they work for me or not. Ill then release my own image of a more functional "patchwork" ver until official releases are made... i think as a new linux cell user, the priority is to get the ball rolling before perfecting its overall behind the scenes backend of things. Lets hope the progress of the united efforts pushes through...

Although I like the reach for authenticity in the game- I don't really gather that perception from the manual. Although, it might be because of a bias of mine that I may be unintentionally blocked from doing so.

iirc they have limited manufacturing resources- so the current production is the best they can do as a new company.
