@flancian you use them to cover up scratches and dents. Cover up webcams on laptops as well as decor/markup luggage and instrument cases. They also act as poor tape for non-critical purposes.

Fun fact:: you're only supposed to send 30% of your income on rent/housing. Most minimum wage Americans can't afford(or can nearly do so) rent with even their full paychecks.
