Stanford University is investigating its president for manipulating images in their papers.

"...these cases aren’t rare" says @retractionwatch @armarcus @ivanoransky

"A retraction for image manipulation happens about once every other day"

That amount is likely the tip of the iceberg given that image fraud is usually discovered by unpaid research sleuths, not publishers.

My 1060 GTX only has 3gb vram

The game won't load unless you have all 6gb vram.

Time to Draw the Dungeons!

I stream every Tue/Thu from 1-4pm Eastern (no Saturday streams until xmas)

Last stream we finished another map and then drew this stepped pyramid map inspired by a location in our Empire of the Petal Throne campaign.

Tldr;
"The next wave of Moore’s Law will rely on a developing concept called system technology co-optimization, Ann B. Kelleher, general manager of technology development at Intel told IEEE Spectrum in an interview ahead of her plenary talk at the 2022 IEEE Electron Device Meeting.

“Moore’s Law is about increasing the integration of functions,” says Kelleher. “As we look forward into the next 10 to 20 years, there’s a pipeline full of innovation” that will continue the cadence of improved products every two years. That path includes the usual continued improvements in semiconductor processes and design, but system technology co-optimization (STCO) will make the biggest difference."

What about trash cans?

Empty backpacks?

Empty cubicles you can pass blame on someone else?

@Stellar @aetios
Well now, your regrets are about to become everyone else's...

I take it your team doesn't have a 'backup' system for when people can't make it? Ideally, there should always be at least 1 overlap of shifts- if not 2.

In my last team, we'd occasionally ask people who do quick favors for us if we could trust them to do the tasks in question.
