I think I might be looking at the wrong branch
I keep trying to cherry pick from the trunk
Or perhaps I'm just a git

Some Internet folklore from China - Years ago, a backdoored version of PuTTY plagued the search results in China and victimized many developers. The backdoor code would submit the server address and its root password via an HTTP request to the attacker's web server. After the backdoor was exposed on social media, some soon realized that the server had a security vulnerability that allowed everyone to use the "delete" request, soon all the passwords on the server got wiped out.

- and then you lose more sleep with health issues

- and then you lose more sleep because of noise
And then Lucifurrr will throw in a cat that with try to smother your face in your sleep because it will think it comfy to sleep on.
I get that, and I thought it was funny. But posting license plates is usually frowned upon. In this case, it's already been said and done- so it's whatever. Still initially funny.
@mntmn@mastodon.social ECCN 5A002 comes with many exemptions. You can probably claim for EAR §740.17(a), which allows the export of crypto components for pure internal R&D use by "private-sector end users" in most Western countries (Supplement No. 3), and the export status is "no classification request, registration or reporting required"
And you're not going to censor any of that? Ok. Well, I guess if we're going that route, let's see what comes up...
Oh, wait - its from five years ago...
