>>We're in a serious drought right now
That's the world at large right now.

>>So I'm hoping people think better of shooting off fireworks.
I have no faith in people.

>>The neighbors down the hill who usually have a firework extravaganza seem to be skipping this year.
So there's hope... Good luck to you and your kin this season!

@Tim_Eagon @tabiwritesstuff

a few days from now will be heartbreaking for many pet owners.

For emphasis, a lot more storage units and garages have blown up this year leading up to the big day.

>>I feel stupid for being in a crowd

Says the one whose head is susceptible to being flooded with other people's thoughts.

Tune in. Zone out.

With the minimal effort being put into this relationship, the outcome would be some wearing one of these:::

>>Conventional business logic may still apply to some degree when every business, news agency, brand still throws your dumb bird mark in the corner of all their printed media, even if the platform is otherwise in freefall.
<< Basic logic, yes. Complex logic that requires meticulous analysis of risk factors and corresponding governing variables that are subject to dynamic changes- no. Especially in today's market when many companies are sinking, others closed, and a lot of other start-ups never launched.

>>It does create a significant barrier to competitors by externalizing the network effect beyond the actual platform.
<< Agreed.

Even I have to step in on this one @freemo .

It's well-known that young and naive kids have been taking out loans for college that they cannot easily afford to pay back afterwards.

Predatory student loans target individuals who will be desperate enough for tuition money to sign whatever comes back there way- only to exacerbate their inevitable debt with additional charges that bring them further from closing the account. Why? Long-term payments. And when said company decides they need the $, they sell the debt to another company.
