@Phaedrus as important as this election was, it wasn't worth killing our friends and neighbors over. Unfortunately it seems like people are blind to hate and resentment. I hope US citizens will learn to let go and move forward and be civil/peaceful with each other...

@tripu I prefer physical books to digital copies :) drm or not- I like having a copy I feel is less volatile for me. That being said, all my ebooks are either torrented or drm-free.

@blank @rf personally, I think it's best to not trust embedded links when it comes from unexpected messages. I always go to memorized homepages before navigating to whichever page I'm looking for.

@fujii_yuji I agree that it will be difficult if not impossible for them to work together. This is especially the case considering that they are actually competitors in several areas. It would be more like their business models to try to develop their own protocols.

@gramos Using a python script to translate images to text, I'm going to take pics of the old pages and convert them to .txt files. From there I will be uploading them to a number of repositories like archive.org as well as seeding them out as torrents.

@mimorinka https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/QEMU under a Linux OS, you would run QEMU in the command prompt. I find QEMU to be more satisfying to use than clients like VirtualBox.

@mimorinka and QEMU is a free Linux alternative. I would recommend trying it if you have a weekend to spare.

@mimorinka sometimes it feels like zero-calorie foods are disgusting, and high-calorie foods are the only thing worth eating. It's really hard to find decent-tasting medium-sized foods.
