@GNUxeava
Immediately use of AI imo is as chatbots, customer service-related stuff, and as npcs.

I wouldn't gamble on AI for critical roles or being responsible for the lives of human beings. They're still "dumb" AI, we have a long ways to go before they actually get to "smart". Just because they learn, doesn't make them "smart".

@mamemomonga
I know you can make a Raspberry Pi into a router- but I have heard mixed results. If you try it's, I would suggest going with a Pi 4.

I haven't tried this one:::
newjerseystyle.github.io/en/20

I've used a Pi-Hole in the past. Once you get your network set up, try this:::
pi-hole.net/

@mamemomonga it just depends on the model and manufacturer. I prefer Netgear or Linksys- Cisco has been too much trouble to me in the past.

@mamemomonga did you get an item to help you turn it on too? Hahaha! Perhaps the people who make this stuff are intoxicated during the process...

@mamemomonga one of my routers wanted me to create an online account I'm order to manage my settings. I instead just flashed over the firmware. It was more work but more satisfying than giving in into the unnecessary demands of the original firmware.

@GNUxeava this is what happens when people rely/implement tech they don't understand.

@mamemomonga have a shot of hard liquor? Meditate? Drink a cup of chamomile with soothing music?

Today:
-reviewed test logs
-listened to tech podcasts while working
-wrapped Xmas presents
-deleted junk apps from ok phone
-paid off credit card(again)
-started transferring accounts to new email address for improved security
+Hope to experiment with 3d graphics programming after dinner (maybe bbq wings?)

@mamemomonga Good evening from the land of the setting sun(western hemisphere).

@Qato walmart has shirts like this all the time. Haven't seen this one though.

@absturztaube thanks for the share. For the sake of others reading who may not know about networking and related infrastructures/architectures- would you mind me asking you to tldr this?
