toot is really hard to use- and it's broken in many ways. Congrats on the transition and good luck on moving foward! To me, goig to #pinephone has been much like the transition from widows to linux itself. It may first seem like there's a lot of sacrifices- but there's a lot of potential to be had and its a growing community that just keeps making everything better!

If there will ever be a "year of the linux desktop", then there now stands to reason that there will be a "year of the linux phone".

The current BOM is due to financial and early-release constraints. If you have alternative suggestions that would fit in with the current $ limit, that would be great if you could supply a BOM of your own. The pinephone is modular- so you could take out the mainboard and replace it with a custom-ordered pcb if you wanted to go that route.

it is! I would have never thought to make crushed peanutes into a candy/treat, but they are addictingly delicious. They have the consistency of finely ground power that is compressed into small cakes.
