300 is also the amount of pennies needed to buy three food items from the dollar store.

300 also amounts to five minutes- the same amount of time I set my watch forward to make sure I always arrive to my destinations early.

Coincidence? I'll let you speculate.

For the record, I never cared because I was never on there in to begin with- it never affected me.

Kinda like how what an people do on solitary instances here keep to themselves- it doesn't affect me.

Origin of the term 'robot'

'Robot' was first applied as a term for artificial automata in the 1920 play R.U.R. by the Czech writer, Karel Čapek. However, Josef Čapek was named by his brother Karel as the true inventor of the term robot.[6][7] The word 'robot' itself was not new, having been in the Slavic language as robota (forced labor), a term applied to peasants obligated to compulsory service under the feudal system (see: Robot Patent).

Actually, protonmail/protonvpn apparently is not as secure as it leads it's customers to believe. I can dig up links if needed, but they will surrender user info and data upon US subpoena. The only difference is they try to warn the user ahead of time before doing so.

Stanford Law has stood near the very top of the rankings for many years, and we are lucky to be in a position where the rankings do not significantly affect our decisions.
........
By joining with the other schools that have chosen to withdraw from participation in the US News rankings this year, we hope to increase the chances that the methodology is seriously overhauled, not only to reduce perverse incentives but to provide clearer and more relevant information that prospective students would find genuinely useful in making decisions about which law schools best match their interests and needs. In the meantime, we will be compiling data that we hope will be considerably more transparent and usable than the information that US News provides and will better help applicants determine whether SLS meets their educational and career aspirations.
