Every Covid vaccine I read about - including that developed by Oxford University - has IP all over it.

If a vaccine appears which works, nobody would be able to create it without permission from and payment to a corporation.

There's not a single news outlet I can see discussing how IP laws restrict the solution to a worldwide pandemic.
