Ohio resident Alan Perkins has taken the 12 foot skeleton game to an entirely new level, building a MASSIVE skeleton bursting out of his home to grab the 12 footer like a toy. Apparently he's still going to add a giant skull bursting through the roof. Just phenomenal work.

Recently, there has been misinformation about #Mozilla's browser #Firefox claiming that a new feature called #FirefoxSuggest would send any address bar inputs to advertising companies by default.

This is not true.

In reality, all sponsored suggestions are given offline by default, meaning that no additional user data is sent anywhere. Online suggestions are strictly opt-in.

Please do not spread false information.

World War I German military bicycle brought from Germany in Tanganyika, present day Tanzania, which was used by German's soldiers to engage British's soldiers in Kenya.

#TIL Ken Thompson's "Trusting Trust" compiler Trojan attack is not just a thought experiment. In fact, it was actually what he really did in real life. In a 1995 mail, he said he was able to successfully compromise the Unix Support Group at Bell Labs.

I first learned this Unix computer folklore at an free software meetup, and later shared it online. I was immediately corrected by someone, saying it's just a myth. I went to read the original paper and it seemed to be the case. #TIL there's actually more into this. The folklore is basically true. #retrocomputing #unix #infosec

Dumb kids nearly egg'd me(my person) tonight when I was right outside. They got someone else's car though. My neighbor across the street saw this as he was getting into his car and met up with them when they stopped at the nearby stopNrob and got their license plate. They took off and gave him the slip apparently. Now there's a handful of people out looking for their car. I'm staying home though- it's been a long day. I think I should buy a new paintball gun though. To end the whole thing with a quote from one of the owners:: "Someone's not going to have a car by the end of the night".
